The evidence

The Salt Lake City warrant was served nine days after the park was hit, and it missed her by minutes — Room 17 was empty with a cigarette still burning. What officers did take out of that room was a folded pink note, hidden behind a framed Picasso reproduction on the wall opposite the bed. It is reproduced at full size below, along with every other page released with the file, including a juvenile record that was unsealed specifically to assist this investigation.
